Že nekaj let ga ni bilo na Touru, ob tem pa tudi ni bil optimalno pripravljen, tako da je po moje 3. mesto v končni razvrstitvi kar lep uspeh. Res pa je, da bo imel naslednje leto ko se vrača s svojo ekipo kar težke tekmece v Contadorju in bratih Schleck. Odvisno pa bo seveda tudi od razporeda etap. Če bo veliko gorskih kot letos, bodo ti trije podobno kot letos res glavni konkurenti.
